Oil derrick decorated for the holiday season, Santa Fe Springs, 1929

It’s nice to know that even the oilmen decorate for Christmas. This shot is from 1929 and shows an oil derrick emblazoned with Christmas cheer. This was in Santa Fe Springs (southeast of downtown L.A.) and I’m guessing was probably visible for miles around.
