Yesterday’s photo of Hollywood Boulevard (then Prospect Boulevard) was taken in 1904, and today’s was taken a year later. This is the stretch we’re more familiar with—the blocks west of Highland Ave, but none of us saw it when it looked like this. That lone streetcar has pulled up outside the Hollywood Hotel, and that large area on the right is a strawberry patch.
