Here we’re seeing the September 1954 of Sabrina (starring Humphrey Bogart, Audrey Hepburn and William Holden) at what was then called the Paramount Theatre on Hollywood Blvd. That theater started out in 1926 as the El Capitan Theatre which showed live plays. Ten years later it became a movie house, and in 1942 was bought by Paramount where it became one of the theaters where Paramount would premiere its new pictures. These days it’s owned by Disney under its original name, the El Capitan.
