This is so perfect that it almost looks like a movie set. This is the McDonnell’s drive-in restaurant – I’ve also seen it referred to as the Ever Eat Restaurant – which stood at the corner of La Brea Blvd and Beverly Blvd in the early 30s. Look at their choice of lettering for their signage—Art Deco perfection!
Love slice of life pics like these, especially during the Golden Era and especially taken in Hollywood/Los Angeles.
At first I thought that might be a clock on the front under the name, but the arms appear to be in the same position in the day and night pics.
