This is a list of top Los Angeles shopping in the Los Angeles City Guide of 1950. Interesting that Adrian made a list comprised largely of department stores. The only one I don’t know is Bond’s, on the same Hollywood-and-Ivar corner as Nancy’s, which I’d not heard of before. Apparently it was predominantly men’s (and boy’s) clothing store.
