Recently, I was reading about the history of Beverly Hills, and how it started as a development by some men who paid a lot for the land, thinking there was oil underfoot. But there wasn’t, so they designed a meticulously planned town. One of the original model homes they build stood at 515 N. Canon Dr., where it stands today.
