This month (on November 19, 1916 to be exact) marked the 100^th anniversary of the date that Samuel Goldwyn and Edgar Selwyn establish Goldwyn Pictures. As we can see, the company’s logo served as the template for movie studio Goldwyn Pictures got folded into 8 years later: MGM. However, I must say that Goldwyn’s lion doesn’t look like he’s about to roar any time soon.
