Looking south of Hollywood and Vine, circa mid 1950sBy the looks of the vehicles in this photo of the corner of Hollywood and Vine looking south down Vine toward the Hollywood Brown Derby, I’d say this shot was taken around the early 1950s—back when The Broadway department store still dominated the intersection and people still dressed up to go shopping. But speaking of cars, that red 1953 Kaiser Manhattan in the middle looks quite spiffy.
