We’re looking east along Hollywood Boulevard from Grauman’s Chinese Theater in what I’m guessing is the late 1940s. We can see the sign for the Drake Hotel, which the Hotel Christie became in 1945. I love it when I find color photos from this era; it brings everything to life—like the sign for The London Shop is in bright, bright red!
