I’ve seen so many photos of the “Hell’s Angels” premiere at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on 24 May, 1930 that I sometimes wonder if Howard Hughes engaged every photographer within a 100-mile radius of Los Angeles. But of all the shots of that night, I think this one (taken, I assume, from the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel) captures the intensity and energy of what must have been an extraordinary night for Hollywood.
Absolutely love this! And love you absolutely, L&M.
