Looking north along Westwood Blvd from Ralph’s Supermarket, Los Angeles, 1950s

Looking north along Westwood Blvd from Ralph's Supermarket, Los Angeles, 1950sYou can almost taste the 1950s in this shot looking north up Westwood Blvd from the Ralph’s supermarket on Lindbrook Drive. There’s something about the light and color in this shot that makes feel I can hear The Four Aces singing “Love is a Many-Splendored Thing” coming from out of the car radios of those fabulous 1950s cars.

Oh wow! We shopped at that Ralphs when we lived in Westwood (1938-1942). I loved living there & was very sad when we moved. The ice rink was a couple of blocks west of Westwood Blvd. Love always, Louella.
