I love finding new vintage photos of the Hollywood Hotel on Hollywood Boulevard. It opened in 1903 and this photo was taken in 1915, by which time the place would have become a familiar sight to people like those three behatted ladies out for a drive in their open-air horseless carriage. I do wonder where they were going. Maybe the were out for a Sunday drive to that new resort sitting way out in the countryside, the Beverly Hills Hotel.
