I wish I knew more about what was going on outside the Warner Bros. Studios on Sunset Blvd. when this photo was taken in 1928. Back then, Warners was riding high on their industry-changing movie, The Jazz Singer. Their Sunset Blvd studios was their main lot at the time (until they moved to Burbank in 1930.) This bus has “Round the World Tour” written on its side, as well as “Portable Broadcasting” so I assume it was part of some sort of Warner Bros. publicity tour (although something tells me it didn’t actually go around the world.)
