Goodyear tire store and gas station at South La Brea Ave and West 2nd St., Los Angeles, circa 1931This Goodyear tire store opened at West 2nd St and South La Brea Ave, Los Angeles, in 1931. And being independently operated, they were able to offer four different brands of gas: Shell “40,” Gilmore “Blu-Green,” Union, and “Motor Tire”—and THAT is something we don’t see anymore.
