Looking north on Broadway from just north of 10th Street (later Olympic Blvd), Christmas, 1930This shot looking up Broadway in downtown Los Angeles from 10th Street (later Olympic Blvd) is from Christmas 1930. The streetcar and its tracks are gone, but is Texaco is still with us. Nobody needs a “Radio Supply Co” any more, but Western Costume is still here. Those wonderful streetlamps are no more, and of course all those wonderful 1920s cars. The United Artists Theatre is still there, although now known as “The Theatre at Ace Hotel” that vertical neon is still there.
