In this shot, we can see the Beverly Wilshire Hotel at the corner of Wilshire Blvd and Rodeo Drive taken at around the time of its opening in 1928. These days, this corner is always very busy with drivers, shoppers, hotel guests and diners. How nice it must have been to negotiate this intersection with so very little traffic. If it looked like this now, I might go there more often!
