Corner of Wilshire Blvd and Shatto Place, Los Angeles circa 1920sI found this photo on the SilentLocations.com blog, which matches stills from silent movies filmed around LA with vintage and current photos of those buildings. The sepia shot is from a Harry Langdon film, “The Strong Man” (1926) that was filmed in front of 3142 Wilshire Blvd right near the corner of Shatto Place. Look how gorgeous those two buildings were, and the beautiful detailing on them. It’s no surprise then that Rolls Royce operated an auto dealership in the corner one.
