   The Sunset Trail is actually not where the CA Incline is today, at least according to this website of archive photos published by the Department of Water and Power. If you scroll about half way down the very long page, you come to a section of photos of the Incline and then, after that, a separate section of photos of the Sunset Trail, including a photo of it taken in 2018.
