It was taken on soundstage 21 at the Warner Bros. studios in Burbank. 843 people are on set to film a musical number called “This Time Is the Last Time” for This Is the Army which was filmed during February through May 1943 and released in August. The number took three weeks of rehearsal and five days to film. It was worth the effort. This Is the Army was the highest grossing movie that year, and the highest-grossing musical until White Christmas surpassed it in 1954.

    As a kid watching all these old movies,I would always wonder where it was all taking place. I wanted to see all around of the location being used to film all these movie, so much so that I would have giving my right arm to be there. Now at least I can see through these pictures, so awesome. I think I was there and have been reincarnated. Because I am obsessed by these images and feel like I was there.
