The Crossroads of the World outdoor mall at 6657 W. Sunset Blvd (opened October 1936) is so unusual that it usually hogs the focus of most photographers’ attention. But right next door is a lovely church, the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, which usually gets ignored. So I was happy to find this color shot from 1967 showing them both.
Both buildings are still around, but of course, as this November 2021 image shows those palm trees are a lot taller now.

Great shot! At this time you may have seen me in my 66 Mustang convertible taking my young wife to meet with her agent who had an office ther, next to Mel Blanc, who was quite smitten by my wife.
Later (80-90s), I had an office in the 6565 Sunset bldg that looked out over this view. I can see my window in the photo. I am so glad the developers seem to respect it all too.
