It’s not hard to see why photographers would regularly point their camera looking north up Vine Street through the Hollywood and Vine intersection. The spectacular Capitol Records building never fails to make a memorable backdrop—especially at night, when it’s all lit up. But that goes double when the vehicle passing is a bright yellow 1959 Pontiac. It’s great to look at, but all I can think of is what a pain it must have been to find a space to parallel park it.

Wow! Must have missed this posting..what a shot!! Looks like The Red Fox now occupying that space next to E.F. Hutton…how many restaurants tried their luck in this space over the years? The sign in front of the yellow auto may be one of those No Left Turn ones they kept handy on corners to be able to throw ’em in the roadway during conjested hours…pretty sure it did not read Turn Off Cell Phones back then.
