Dorothy Gish, one of the early silent stars along with her sister Lillian, was at the Garden of Allah during filming of “Madame Pompadour” in 1927 She also lived at the Garden of Allah with husband Louis Calhern in the 1940s, one of several wives he lived with at the Garden.
