40 Acres Backlot studio in Culver City

The “40 Acres Backlot” was once home to Selznick International Pictures and was where “Gone with the Wind” was filmed. In 1958, it was purchased by Desilu Productions, the studio formed in 1951 by Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz.
