The Beverly Wilshire Hotel at the corner of Wilshire Blvd and Rodeo Dr. It opened in 1928 but you can see the Brown Derby sign in the distance on the right and it opened in 1931. But judging by the black car in the foreground, I’m guessing this photo was taken late 1930s. Look at all that empty land around!
