General Dwight D. Eisenhower spoke to a crowd of 10000 people at the Pan Pacific Auditorium in 1952 a month before being elected President. The Pan Pacific Auditorium used to stand at 7600 West Beverly Boulevard near the site of Gilmore Field, a baseball stadium that stood where CBS Television City now stands, next to what is now The Grove shopping mall.
