This is Wilshire Blvd looking east from a couple of blocks west of Rodeo Drive in 1944. You can see the Brown Derby restaurant sign outlined on the left hand side of the street. I wonder if those people whose cars are parked on Wilshire realize how lucky they had it. Imagine trying to park there now.
