A streetcar heading into downtown L.A. rolls along Hollywood Boulevard, just east of the Hollywood & Vine corner, passing the Pantages Theater in — I’m guessing — sometime in the 1950s. On the right hand side of the picture, we can see Vallera Italian Kitchen restaurant at the corner of Argyle Ave. It was a favorite spot, especially during radio’s heyday—the major radio networks studios were all within walking distance.
