We’re so used to seeing the famous palm trees of Beverly Hills towering above us that it’s easy to forget that they were once baby palms, barely taller than us. This shot of Canon Drive, circa 1918, reminds us that was once a time when Beverly Hills had no shade, lots of room, and parking was a cinch.
