Here’s a bit of movie history sent to me by Kurt, who runs the authoritative www.graumanschinese.org — the program and ticket for the Hollywood premiere of “All About Eve” held in November 1950 at Grauman’s. It took place 2 weeks after the New York opening so by the time this evening arrived, word was already out that this picture was sensational. Across the street, the Roosevelt Hotel blacked out some of the letter on its sign so that only “EVE” could be seen!
