A few days ago, I posted a photo of the bridle path that used to run down the center of Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. In this aerial shot from 1921, we can see it more clearly, running down the road on the left. The road along the bottom is Santa Monica Blvd and we’re facing north into Beverly Hills, where we can see that by 1921, the plots of land are starting to fill in with homes.
