Finding new photos of the Garden of Allah are few and far between these days, but it still thrills me to find them—especially one so clear and crisp. I don’t have a date on this but I’d say from this couple’s clothing style, I’d say late 40s, maybe…? We can see they’re at the corner of Sunset and Havenhurst, which means that bungalow behind them is villa #1, which is where F. Scott Fitzgerald stayed when he lived there in 1937.
