Wilshire Boulevard at dusk, Los Angeles, circa early 1960s

Wilshire Boulevard at dusk, Los Angeles, circa early 1960sHere we have a circa-early-1960s shot of Wilshire Blvd at dusk. On the left we can see the pylon for the Ambassador Hotel, and opposite it, the original Brown Derby. Interesting, I see it’s got an awning to the sidewalk—I don’t remember seeing that before. Beyond it is the Chapman Park Hotel (a lovely Garden of Allah-like place) and waaaaay off in the distance we can juuuuust see the tower of the Wiltern Theatre in the distance.

Has a sepia-tone that makes me feel nostalgic, Martin.
