Brown Derby at Wilshire Blvd and Rodeo Dr., Beverly Hills, late 1930sI would imagine that back in the day when most of LA’s buildings were only one or two stories, the tall derby-shaped signs for the Brown Derby restaurants really stood out. This is the Beverly Hills Brown Derby at the corner of Wilshire Blvd and Rodeo Drive. The sedan with whitewall tires appears to be a 1938 Buick, and the vehicle behind it looks like a 1937 Ford convertible club coupe. (I envy the owners of those cars because now that curb is painted no-parking red.)
